Be A Mentor

Mentors from industry participate in a variety of ways:

  • Work with students to complete their projects.
  • Generally mentors will travel to Park City to meet with students.
  • You may wish to host a tour of their facility or other event (such as a planning meeting) which requires students to come to the business.
  • Can invite students to trade organization events.

How much time will be required? As much or as little time as you are able to give is appreciated. Some of our mentors participate once a semester. Others enjoy mentoring so much they come to class every day. Call 435-645-5650 or email to schedule a time to meet and consider the options.

Am I qualified to be a mentor? If you are employed by a company, self-employed or retired in a field that relates to any of the PCCAPS coursework, then you are qualified. Students can receive valuable learning from your work expertise and experiences and are eager to learn from you.
